DescriptionModelled as an human effigy, the design of this bowl with a reclining figure combines charm, humor and ingenuity. Closely related ceramic styles have been found in the regions of Colima, Jalisco and Nayarit in West Mexico (300 BCE - 300 CE) and as far afield as the Noel Cemetery site in Tennessee (1200-1400).
