DescriptionThe reticulation on the rim appears to be hand applied rather than produced in a mold. It is unclear if this dish was used as an underplate for a similarly designed complementary bowl or simply intended to be a decorative tour de force. The reticulation is decorated overall with small rosettes and the floral theme is continued in the center of the dish.
