DescriptionThis small effigy jar in the form of a monkey is similar to a group of ring-based blackware effigy vessels found in the Tairona region, but the modelled legs and feet distinguish it as a variant. The black ceramic and iconography are Tairona while the final translation of the syle shows Highland Narino influence.
