DescriptionThis matching set of greenstone ornaments may have been part of the royal regalia or costume worn by a high ranking ruler to convey his or her status. All forms of greenstone, not just jade, were highly valued and worn as a talisman of life force. This matching set has tiny holes for suspension and is decorated with a star symbol, often a representation of success in war.
