DescriptionThe roughly textured surface and coarse paint of this mask are typical of Idoma, as is the pointed hairline. There is not enough space on the forehead for the characteristic Idoma vertical scar but the scarification on the temples and shape of the eyes are also features of Idoma masks.- Art of Africa
