    DescriptionSanta Librata, also known as Saint Wilgefortis ("Strong Virgin"), patroness of laundresses, is also invoked during moments of distress and headaches. She is depicted as a young woman crucified on a cross, wearing a wreath of flowers and palm fronds, symbols of her martyrdom.
