    DescriptionA ushabti is a servant figure designed to work for the deceased in the next world. They could be made of stone, wood, metal, or most commonly molded in faience like this one. The inscription on the ushabti says that if the deceased is called to do agricultural work in the next world, this figurine will say “Ushabti” “I will answer” in Egyptian.
