DescriptionThis plaque, probably carved for the interior of a tomb, depicts two scenes dealing with filial piety. On the right is the story of Yang Hong who fights a tiger to save his father. The left side depicts Old Lai-zi entertaining his aged parents. As nothing is known of these stories in the standard histories, they are probably localized to the area where the plaque was carved.
